The first ranking since the COVID pandemic suspended travel and tourism has been conducted. The British publication TIME OUT surveyed thousands of citizens worldwide to learn about life in their cities. They were asked about gastronomy and the bar scene, but also about theater and art galleries, nightlife, what the neighbors are like, and which are the most picturesque neighborhoods, among other aspects.
Buenos Aires stands out, particularly as the world capital of bookstores, the birthplace of tango, and a hub for all branches of the arts (visual, literary, performing, etc).
In addition to the wide range of theatrical productions in the Argentine capital, there is also a large number of museums, many of which are free to visit.
